Cantor Fine was educated
at The Charles E. Smith
Jewish Day School
in Rockville, Maryland,
and she graduated
summa cum laude with a
B.A. in psychology from
The George Washington
University and obtained a
Master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Pennsylvania, specializing in working with families with a focus in abuse and neglect prevention.
Cantor Nina Fine has conducted lifecycle events such as weddings, Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, funerals and unveilings, and baby namings and has led Shabbat and High Holiday services. You can join her at Temple Beth-El in Ormond Beach this year. Cantor Fine delights in working with young families and uses her vast knowledge of child development to create and lead a multitude of specialty family programming including Jewish mommy and me’s both in person and virtually. Cantor Fine takes pride in creating holiday puppet shows with "Mitzvah Monkey" that thrill and delight children of all ages. Check out her YouTube videos.
Cantor Fine runs her own independent online Hebrew School “Kitah Shalom” using Shalom Learning Curriculum and has done voiceovers for Shalom Learning's new Hebrew program "Learning Hebrew Side by Side". Cantor Fine has been the Education Director at Congregation Beth Am in Longwood and Temple Beth-El in Ormond Beach. She teaches adults and children and adults to read Hebrew through tutoring and online classes, and tutors students for B'nei Mitzvah, both privately and contracted by Temple Beth-El of Aptos, CA as their B'nei Mitzvah coach.
Cantor Fine is a Program Director with the Jewish Pavilion, leading services and entertainment for the elder community and creating the adoptive grandparent program, connecting area Jewish children with Jewish elders in facilities.
Cantor Fine was a professional vocalist prior to her Cantorial Ordination, singing with Peter Nero and The Philly Pops for 15 years, as well as soloing with orchestras and ensembles and performing in Opera, on Broadway and with Big Bands.
